It was just a kiss.
Ivan looked at the two figures, in the dark. As he walked forward the moonlight showed a man and a woman, their figures made like they were made for each other. They were kissing, but those weren’t just kisses, he thought as he approached them.
They seemed perfect.
His hands were holding her back tight, and her hands were on his back too, almost if something would come soon to pull them away from each other and they were scared of it. Their bodies were close but they would always change position, longing for each other’s body, for each other’s tongue, drops of sweat falling from one head to another. He did another step, almost curious of who they were.
Then, the moonlight showed them.
He stepped back as he saw a pair of white hands and a head with white hair holding a small, long-haired blonde girl, that with no doubt... was... his sister. No, no, that couldn’t be. It couldn’t be!!!
But it was logical.
They had admitted they were in love with each other long before. So, why not sleeping together? Because that’s what they were going to do, he thought. In fact... He stood up.
He had a hand on his pants.
But they couldn’t do it!!! They couldn’t! He was there!!! They had to be scared of him! Because... he would have killed them!!! Yes he would! And they kissed again.
“Let’s do it. Now.” “Da...”
NO!- He wanted to scream. He wanted to pull them away and take his pipe. Slit their necks open and kill them. She was his sister, he was nothing!!! A nation they dissolved! He didn’t deserve anything anymore, unless to be his slave!!! And slaves don’t go with... sisters...
She was crying.
But she was asking for more. She was crying because he had to ruin all. Maybe she didn’t know that he was watching her but she knew, that all she was doing was so wrong, but she couldn’t help it. Because he loved him. Why had he ignored that word so much, so much to let them love each other? They were going too far. It had to be stopped before.
But he hadn’t stopped them.
And now that’s what they were doing. Making love. Like every couple. But a couple that couldn’t be alive and he knew it. Because if they had married, she would have died along with him.
They knew it.
As they knew he was there. They were looking at him with red blue eyes. But the weird thing... was... they were not pissed. They were not scared. They were not angry. They were not worried. They were not stopping.
They were not caring.
They were ignoring him!!! How could they dare!!! He got closer to them. And that’s when their expression changed. He took his pipe. He expected them to be scared, worried, to beg him to let go. But no.
They were smirking.
“How do you da....” he started. But Gilbert stood up. Nothing of the sweating guy that was holding his sister was left. He was standing and he even seemed taller than him, a black hat with feathers on his head and black, clean clothes, that made him seem... what was the word? Awesome.
That was the Empire of Prussia.
“Maybe, it’s how do you dare! How do you dare to stop me! You are just a slave. Do I need to remember you whose country was dissolved? And who is living just because of this stupid union?”
Ivan just stood there, frozen in shock. “N-nyet... that’s...y-”
“Big brother” Natalya stood up, and he almost had to cover his eyes. Natalya was in a white dress, so white that the moon’s reflection on it hurt his eyes. It was a... bridal dress!
“Brother, please, listen to him.” She put a hand on Gilbert’s shoulder, and she was... she was smiling! “You know that running away is useless... Please. You know that you are alive just because you are my brother, right?”
Ivan couldn’t say a word. It was... impossible! He was Russia! He was great! Prussia was the nobody! He was the one that couldn’t get married!
He was the condamned one!!!
And wrapped her arms around her waist, her hands on his cheeks. They kissed. And that vision made Ivan almost sick. He was the useless one now. Not even his death pipe could work. He was alone. All that he always wanted to be, no?
He saw the baltics. They ignored him. He tried to call them, but they just told him to go back to his work.
Then he saw Poland. He grinned. “I’ll leave soon” he said “And you stay there”.
Then a voice. Gilbert’s.
“Come to my office tonight.”
And he fell on his knees.
“Oh, you can't bear it? What’s left of the great Empire you were? Kesesese~”
